The washdown station delivers a high temp wash down using a proprietary mixing valves that combines steam and water for a constant stream at your set temperature. The safety shutoff feature essentially eliminates the risk of 'a hose full of steam', thereby decreasing hazards in your brewery. The mixing valve is designed to reduce flow should the output temp exceed the factory set point of 185F and will completely shut down 15F above that. We have used this pasteurizer for the past 7 years. It has been a great piece of equipment and is perfect for companies producing 20-100k gallons per year. To pasteurize we filled 3 macro bins with cans (works with bottles as well) loaded the 3 bins in to a large SS cage then lowered with a forklift in to a SS insulated tank. Please see specs below.
