Both chillers were in use for our 2 bbl brew house but we've expanded so we no longer need these. The smaller one was used as a prechiller and the larger had hot wort flowing through it. The larger is fitted with stepped-down barbs to accommodate the 1/2" silicone tubing we were using on the brew house and the smaller chiller is fitted with a garden hose adapter for input chilling water. 7HP G&D Multi Stage Chiller (GD-7x7H) purchased new in 2017. This chiller was in use until 2020 when a larger capacity chiller was needed and has been stored inside since. When decommissioned, the unit was working well. It has since been evaluated and one of the expansion valves might need to be replaced, but cannot confirm until it is hooked up and operational. Selling our 6500 BTU chiller with 2 circulation pumps and hoses. We used the unit to cool our two 15 BBL fermenters. It was able to maintain fermentation temperature and then crash cool them down. This unit cost $2200 new with the hoses. Selling for $750 + shipping. It has been in use for a year with zero issues. We just sized up to 30 BBL fermenters and while we're pretty sure this chiller would have been able to maintain fermentation temps, the new chiller is sized for our future expansion. The hoses are silicone and come with 1.5 inch triclamp attachments. They are 8 feet in length. You can always buy more silicone hose for longer runs. For sale is a 1995 40 Hp Pro Refrigeration Glycol Chiller. Pulled out of service fully functional August 2023 to upgrade to a larger one. -230 volt 3 phase -Has 2-20hp compressors with separate circuits. -One 2 Hp circulation pump and one 7.5 Hp process pump. -Built in glycol tank -Upon pulling out, it was carefully removed to be easy to reinstall. All wiring labeled as well as refrigeration lines to condenser. -Both compressors replaced with rebuilt ones approx 5 years ago. -System has been converted to MO-99(R-438 A)refrigerant and is charged. May need a small amount to makeup for what was lost during removal that would have been in condenser. For the rest, no need to spend thousands to charge again. -Determined at removal that one oil pressure sensor was leaking so it was pinched off to keep from loosing the Freon and will need to be replaced. -Spare...
