News Constellation Finds New Location to Build Brewery After Water Dispute Shuts Down Mexicali Location
Constellation Brands said this week it will now build a new brewery in Veracruz, Mexico after a dispute over water access prompted it to halt construction last year of its largely completed brewery in the arid, northern border city of Mexicali.

News Breweries Pull Out of Mikkeller Beer Festival in Response to Sexual Harassment Allegations
At least nine breweries have announced they will not attend the upcoming Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen (MBCC) festival later this month in response to accounts of sexual harassment, discrimination, and bullying that several former Mikkeller employees allege occurred at the company, according to a story in Good Beer Hunting.

News U.K. to Pass Legislation Making it Illegal for Bars and Restaurants to Keep Tip Money

News UK’s COVID ‘Winter Plan’ to Allow Pubs to Remain Open
The UK Government issued a ‘Winter Plan’ which allows pubs to stay open, even if further measures are required to control a surge in the virus. The Winter Plan lays out wide ranging measures for tackling COVED during autumn and winter in England.

News Boston Beer Subsidiary to Launch Cannabis-Infused Beverages in Canada
Entourage Health Corp., a Canadian producer and distributor of cannabis products and brands announced that its subsidiary and license holder WeedMD RX Inc. has signed an agreement with BBCCC, Inc., a subsidiary of the Boston Beer Company to launch a new portfolio of non-alcoholic cannabis-infused beverages in Canada.

News Heineken to Invest $52 Million in Neighborhood Pubs Across UK
Heineken will pump around $52 million into its Star and Garter pubs estate in the UK to upgrade about 80 of its pubs. Each pub will receive between $171,000 to $550,000 to make the pubs more comfortable and stylish inside as well as improving beer gardens. Better quality food will also be introduced – which is expected to account for around 30% of sales – as well as good coffee and premium spirits, wines, lagers and ciders.

News ABInBev Projects 4-8% Growth in Profit Over Next Four Years
