News UK’s COVID ‘Winter Plan’ to Allow Pubs to Remain Open

The UK Government issued a ‘Winter Plan’ which allows pubs to stay open, even if further measures are required to control a surge in the virus. The Winter Plan lays out wide ranging measures for tackling COVED during autumn and winter in England.

Following prime minister Boris Johnson’s statement in a press conference yesterday, the British Beer & Pub Association (BBPA) described the Winter Plan as “very welcome news” to hear that “powers to close-down or apply restrictions to our pubs will be repealed”.
