Scottish craft brewer BrewDog has formed a joint venture with Asahi Breweries to increase its distribution across Japan.
BrewDog beers are currently available in limited specialty retail locations but the partnership will utilize Asahi’s distribution and retail access to expand placement in a broader retail base.
BrewDog will retain a controlling interest in the new venture, which will operate as a standalone entity with its own sales, marketing and back-office teams.
