Up for sale is a used 3/8HP UBC Glycol Chiller. This unit appears to be remanufactured but certified and was working prior to going into storage in 2022. Unit shows little signs of wear and has all parts needed to be fully functional. This would be a great unit to chill your tap lines or a small pilot batch. I do need to move this equipment but am not going to "give it away" so don't low ball waste your time or mine. Asking $1,000 OBO. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and fees. A well maintained UBC Dual Pump UBC 3/4 hp Glycol Chiller in excellent condition. We upgraded to a larger unit. We ran 2 in parallel and successfully operated 8, 9.2 bbl unitanks. I also have an extra controls box that is included. The unit has a breakaway pump heads so you don't burn up the pump if the head fails. I'm also including a nice Vornado fan mounted to the housing to increase airflow. They still have glycol in them if you're local and really want to save a buck. We fabricated a connector hose in the back to keep glycol equilibrium between 2 units. I'd prefer to sell both locally in the Colorado area but I will also ship. Update: This unit has been moved to the manufacturer's lot who is giving it a once over. They can pressure test and verify that it's operational. It will ship from their location in North Carolina. It has two 20 hp loops with 2 fans each, recirculation pumps, process pump, 1,000 gallon reservoir with expansion ports so a 3rd loop could be added. Cooling capacity is 250,000 BTU/hour. Everything runs and has been well maintained, it's just too small for us now so we replaced it with a larger unit. Prochiller says the same buildout new runs over $78,000. We have closed our Bel Air location and plan on moving/storing this unit at Railroad PA (our new location) by 3/9/24 until sold. Can be picked up in Bel Air prior to 3/9/24 or from Railroad PA after 3/9/24. New pump in 2018, New condenser in 2021. Runs like a champ. The evaporator coils were moved to the top of the unit in 2018 when installed as there was not enough room between the building and the property line to allow enough airflow.
