Update: This unit has been moved to the manufacturer's lot who is giving it a once over. They can pressure test and verify that it's operational. It will ship from their location in North Carolina. It has two 20 hp loops with 2 fans each, recirculation pumps, process pump, 1,000 gallon reservoir with expansion ports so a 3rd loop could be added. Cooling capacity is 250,000 BTU/hour. Everything runs and has been well maintained, it's just too small for us now so we replaced it with a larger unit. Prochiller says the same buildout new runs over $78,000. Price reduced to 35,000 obo on this unit. Unit is 91" wide, 214" long and 88" high. Up for sale is a used 3/8HP UBC Glycol Chiller. This unit appears to be remanufactured but certified and was working prior to going into storage in 2022. Unit shows little signs of wear and has all parts needed to be fully functional. This would be a great unit to chill your tap lines or a small pilot batch. I do need to move this equipment but am not going to "give it away" so don't low ball waste your time or mine. Asking $1,000 OBO. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and fees. Pro Chiller 12 HP 230V 3 ph model # PM112F3R4250-A-VC. Upgraded oversized 220 gallon glycol reservoir, upsized 5 hp glycol process pump, VFD drive and glycol low level alarm. System was put into commission in 2014. The machine went through a $8,673.04 refurbishment and compressor replacement in August 2017. I bought this used from a guy here on ProBrewer about 5 years ago. I've since had one main guy service it. The temperature controller was replaced recently, it got a new compressor a year ago. This thing is a champion. As long as you have a trusted local commercial refrigeration guy handy, this thing will keep on truckin'. Parts are relatively cheap. I was chilling 6 separate 264 gallon tanks at the same time and it never skipped a beat. I could set the setpoint to 28F and can my cider at 31 degrees. When a compressor broke, I recall paying about $2,300 in both parts/labor/refrigerant to fix it. I'm on my 3rd compressor. First one was the used one it came with, that went in year one. The next one went because it was filled over-capacity by an inexperienced guy. This third one is a year old, installed...
