News TTB Postpones Tax Payment and Other Filing Due Dates
The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) announced today in a circular that they will be postponing several filing and payment due dates for 90-days where the original due date falls on or after March 1, 2020, through July 1, 2020.

News Small Business Owner’s Guide to the CARES Act
The U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship released a comprehensive guide to the various programs being offered to small businesses through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The programs and initiatives in the CARES Act that was just passed by Congress are intended to assist business owners with whatever needs they have right now.

News Brewpub Lifeline –Take Out Service
As more states issue shelter-in-place orders due to the COVID crisis, breweries with a kitchen and food service have found a lifeline; providing food to go orders. It can be enough to keep some employees working and enough revenue coming in to pay for some of the fixed costs such as rent, insurance and other expenses that don’t go away when a business temporarily closes.

News Some Brewers Turn to Making Hand Sanitizer
As beer sales plummet across the country and many breweries begin to shut down and layoff staff, some are turning to making a scarce commodity – hand sanitizer. Distillers are getting in on the act as well. In most cases it is being handed out to free to the local community.

News Taproom And General Business Considerations For The Coronavirus Crisis
With the current virus crisis changing so quickly, it’s easy for a business to misstep and do things that are detrimental to their business and community if not properly prepared.
