This equipment is truly remarkable. It’s a 15-barrel system, cleverly divided into three 5-barrel (BBL) compartments.
- Open Fermentation Compartments:
- Two of the compartments are designed for open fermentation.
- The third compartment has been modified for closed fermentation or long-term storage. However, it’s important to note that this compartment is not rated for pressure or carbonation.
- Crafted from high-quality USA Stainless Steel, this system is easy to clean.
- Features:
- RTD Temperature Gauges: Each compartment is equipped with these gauges for precise temperature monitoring.
- Versatile Ports: Plenty of ports s available, making it adaptable for various brewing needs.
- CIP Ball: While it comes with a CIP (Clean-In-Place) ball, I found that manual scrubbing was easiest for me
- Cooling Capabilities:
- The fermenter is jacketed and a cooling coil in each compartment.
- These cooling coils allow you to maintain three different temperatures, even achieving cold crashing temperatures.
- Remarkably, the cooling coils can handle batches as small as 3.5 BBL.
- Convenient Design:
- Dual Hinged Covers: These covers facilitate easy cleaning, except for the F1 compartment, which features a closed top.
- Dimensions: 120 inches long x 38 inches deep x 51 inches tall.
- Visuals and Configuration:
- Some images depict the F1 compartment in its pre-sealed configuration.
- Additionally, you’ll find pictures showcasing the new ports and the presence of a manhole on each side of the fermenter.
this fermentation system combines functionality, craftsmanship, and adaptability. While I love this vessal, it’s too much for my space. I tried to make it work and there is a reason it’s nicknamed the Beast. It’s been in two breweries now. location 60563
