News Great British Beer Festival to Skip 2024

The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMERA) has announced that the Great British Beer Festival will not be held in 2024 due to remodeling work being done at the festival’s location.

The Great British Beer Festival (GBBF) is an annual beer festival organized by CAMRA held at the London Olympia. The internationally known and attended event offers around 900 different beverages, about half of which are from British breweries and around 200 beers from other countries. The six-day event also includes the Champion Beer of Britain awards. The festival is held in August of each year and is attended by about 60,000-70,000 people.

CAMERA has said the event will return in 2025.

Although CAMERA held an annual event dating back to 1975, the first actual GBBF was held in 1977.
