Bulk Beer Shipping May Be Next COVID Induced Trend

Although import beer makes up about 20% of the U.S. beer market, almost none of it is packaged here. Instead, the expensive task of shipping bottles, cans and kegs continues to be the norm. But with thousands of kegs “stuck” at closed on-premise businesses, the idea of shipping beer from other countries in bulk and then packaging here in the U.S. may be a trend in the future.
