Join the QC2 lab on May 6th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM to learn all about Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. diastaticus. We’ll discuss what makes this yeast different than traditional brewers yeast, the danger it poses, and how to test for it in your brewery. Mike Billon will join us to share his expertise as the microbiologist at Allagash Brewing Company in Portland, Maine. Please note: this event was originally scheduled for April 8th, but was postponed until May 6th.
