Three industry veterans are building new brewery in Houston

Long-time craft brewing industry veteran Eric Warner, formally brewmaster and CEO at Flying Dog is packing the family and movin’ to Houston, Texas to be involved in a new start-up there.

Teaming with Chuck Robertson and Ken Goodman who both owned specialty beer distributor C.R. Goodman before selling to Ben E. Keith three years ago, they are well on their way to firing up the kettle at Karbach Brewing Co. The equipment is on site, in the warehouse under renovation in the same part of town where Saint Arnold started. They expect to be brewing by August and their beers will be packaged in draft and in bottles

The new brewery will have a production capacity of about 4,000 barrels annually.
