News Stone Brewing Closes Napa Location Over Rent Dispute

Four years after renovating an 144-year old historic building in downtown Napa, California into a brewery and restaurant, Stone Brewing has closed the business. Approximately 40 employees were laid off.

According to an article in the Napa Valley Register, Stone has had an ongoing dispute over rent payment during the pandemic.

The 11,000 square foot two-story building houses a 10-barrel brewery and overlooks the Napa River. Stone spent about two years refurbishing the building into its current state.
