Sierra Nevada Brewing Company has announced that it has closed their satellite tap in Berkeley, California.
“We have permanently closed the Torpedo Room as of July 2022,” the company said on their web site. “It’s tough for us to type those words. But the effects of the pandemic, from staffing shortages to wayward foot traffic, ultimately made the Torpedo Room unsustainable.”
The Torpedo Room, which had been open for nearly 10 years has played host to many unique Sierra Nevada beers, special events and industry gatherings. It was the only satellite taproom that the brewery has operated.
