Time to #reconnect: European Brewers Show Support for Hospitality Sector

Bars and restaurants – and particularly those that are smaller businesses – will need ‘targeted, ongoing and continued support’ as they reopen, says the Brewers of Europe. With one in three beers in Europe sold in hospitality, its success is closely linked to the fortunes of the beer industry as a whole.

 

The Brewers of Europe plan a two-prone approach to help ensure the viability of both the hospitality and the brewing industry across the continent. The first is to help the consumer feel safe when they visit pubs and restaurants and the second is to convince governments that the industry needs more economic assistance to recover from the pandemic.
