Mobile Canning Companies Help Keep Brewers Afloat

June 17, 2020

With brewery tasting rooms shut down in most states since mid-March, those breweries which depend on their on-premise sales for most if not all of their revenue have struggled the most. With no outlets to sell kegged beer to, mobile canning companies have come to the rescue.

At least 28 mobile canning companies exist across the country. Before the pandemic, these mobile canning companies allowed small craft brewers to can beer on demand, without the cost burden of purchasing a canning machine. But in the last two months, these companies have been in overdrive, canning beer for many new clients who had to pivot to canning their beer as the only way to generate sales and revenue. Without a doubt, many craft breweries would not have been able to survive this far without being able to can their beer and sell to-go .

ProBrewer has a list of mobile canning companies in the Allied Trade Directory.
