Brewing Usage: Aroma
Aroma: Herbal and floral tones
Alpha Acids: 5.0 – 6.0%
Beta Acids: 5.0 – 7.0%
Co-Humulone: 14 – 16% of alpha acids
Storage Stability: 75 – 80% alpha remaining after 6 months
Total Oil: 0.8 – 1.2 mL/100g
Myrcene: 20 – 25% of total oil
Humulene: 45 – 50% of total oil
Caryophyllene: 12 – 14% of total oil
Farnesene: <1% of total oil General Trade Perception: Similar aroma to Hallertau Mittelfruh
Possible Substitutions: Hallertau mf., German Hersbrucker, Liberty, Mt. Hood
Typical Beer Styles: Belgian-style Ales, Bock, Kölsch, Lager, Helles, Pilsner, Wheat
