Flying Dog Unleashes New Distribution Network

News »  General Newsposted Mar 7th 12:00:00AM by Pat Hagerman

Flying Dog Brewery announced today that it has aligned with a new network of distributors to cover its home state of Colorado.

Effective immediately, the entire Flying Dog Brewery collection of brands will be distributed in Colorado by the Coors network, which includes in part Coors Distributing Company for the Denver metro area.

According to Flying Dog’s Lead Dog (President), Eric Warner, the decision was made in an effort to work with beer-only distributors in Colorado who have a strong presence in their local communities. “The adult beverage business landscape in Colorado is extremely competitive and we felt that aligning with beer-exclusive distributors gave us the best chance to maximize our local marketing efforts and grow our business,” said Warner.

This announcement comes two months after a similar re-alignment in Florida that has already yielded positive results. “Our association with our new distribution network across the state of Florida has provided us with the opportunity to significantly build distribution on and off-premise,” said Pete Hargita, national director of sales.
