Bio: With over 20,000 hours of experience on the business side of the specialty beer industry, from field sales to regional management, a BA in Marketing from Texas State University at San Marcos, and more than 15 years of experience working in the service industry, Julie Rhodes is an authority on brewery sales, marketing, team management, regional sales management, distributor partnership management, supply chain logistics, and customer service. She is the owner of Not Your Hobby Marketing Solutions, a consulting company that offers online educational programs and customized coaching services designed specifically to teach business skills to craft beer professionals. She has been featured on industry podcasts, written articles about sales & marketing for beer trade publications, and spoken at multiple corporate and independent organizations about the importance of business skills in the beer industry. She is Cicerone Certified, a member of the Pink Boots Society, the Brewers Association, the Colorado Brewers Guild, and Women of the Vine & Spirits, and resides in Colorado with her husband and two children.
