Often times the most underrated and underappreciated step in the brewing process, grain handling can be your best friend if you put some thought into it or your worst enemy if you don’t give it the attention it deserves. I’d like to talk through some of the basics of what equipment is available and what to consider when choosing so that the brewery is set up for future expansion. I would also like to talk through some of the dos and don’ts to consider when setting up grain handling systems/equipment.

Speaker: Riley Aadland, RMS Brewing Solutions

Bio: RMS Brewing Solutions is an industry leader in particle size reduction and grain handling solutions. We provide turnkey design, installation, and commissioning of grain mills, storage, conveyance, and control solutions for breweries and distilleries. From simple setups to fully automated systems, I have worked with dozens of brewers to help them design a grain handling system that makes the most sense for them.
