Beer Now, founded as the Beer Bloggers & Writers Conference, was first held in Boulder, Colorado in 2010. It has traveled to major cities throughout North America since then. After missing in 2020 due to COVID-19, 2021 will be the 11th running of the event. It will take place because we have secured an outdoor venue and have worked out safety procedures with our host, Vista Brewing, that we believe will keep attendees safe.

The conference is for everyone who communicates about beer. It is oriented towards beer bloggers, beer writers, social media influencers, and those in the beer industry communicating about beer. It is also very applicable to breweries, brewery guilds, Destination Management Organizations, and PR companies wishing to meet and establish relationships with these key players. Here are a few reasons why you should consider attending:

• Excellent content including sessions on writing, social media, technology, community building, career growth, and marketing. If you are one of our core community, this is the single best event you can attend to facilitate your own career development.
• Networking and fun with your fellow attendees at this intimate gathering of approximately 100 – 150 passionate beer connoisseurs. You will meet your peers and key industry members interested in working with you. Please note our capacity is limited in 2021 due to the venue and social distancing requirements.
• Outstanding beer (and several meals) included from our sponsors and local hosts, which helps you not only improve your palate and assessment skills but also provides excellent material for your writing and posting. In 2021 we are providing a beer crawl on Thursday, lunch on Friday, and dinner on Saturday – all included in your conference ticket.
• Pre-Conference and Post-Conference Excursions that introduce you to the host region.

2021 Conference

We are confident we can safely run Beer Now in 2021 by having an outdoor event and using proper safety procedures including masks, social distancing, and appropriate hygiene. We also believe we can produce a fun and informative event that is not diminished by the safety procedures in place. Please note attendance will be capped in 2021 due to space constraints and social distancing.
