Virginia Tech is offering a Fermentation Option as part of the Food Science & Technology undergraduate curriculum. This option provides both theoretical & hands-on training in fermentation to uniquely prepare our students for jobs related to fermented beverages, dairy fermentations, & biotech fermentation. Our Option is recognized by the Master Brewers Association of the America’s for learning outcomes for brewing. Students are able to experience a study abroad session at TUM-Weihenstephan.
