This certificate program will provide students with necessary education and skills to achieve success in myriad positions within the brewing and distilling industries. Hands-on training in the brewing science laboratory will enable students to smoothly transition into an internship program at any number of local breweries or distilleries. Courses include introduction to professional brewing, sensory analysis of beer, science of brewing and distilling, and safe food and alcohol beverage service.
