The BS degree in fermentation science prepares students for careers in fermentation-related industries, including brewing and distilling science and quality control. The program provides interdisciplinary training drawing from departments in various colleges and the Fermentation Science Institute. Instruction is carried out in newly designed facilities with pilot facilities for brewing, malting, distilling and interfaces with a fully equipped and TTB certified quality control laboratory.
