Established in 1979 in Summerland, BC, Ripley Stainless is a Canadian owned family business that has expanded over the decades to its current 30,000 sq. ft. facility.

All Ripley tanks or custom built equipment is hand-crafted to meet customers needs. Our specialists work with you to define specifications which is then translated into a technical drawing prior to fabrication.

One of the Ripley advantages is that we have full ability to fabricate our own tanks and tank components – thereby drastically reducing lead times. Until recently we had to import tank heads but even that is an element we will be producing in-house now that we have acquired a flanger from the eastern US.

Our systems are more robust and more sophisticated than many competitors – for example, our dimple cooling/heating jackets hold more volume of Glycol than normal tank standards allowing for more heat exchange and lower pressure drop.

We use a heavier gauge stainless steel in our tank fabrication which allows for future add-ons ie: manways, cooling/heating jackets etc. and extends the lifetime of our tanks.

We only use certified stainless steel alloy materials in accordance with international metal standards complete with mill test certifications. All manway door gaskets & floating lid seals are heavy duty. Ripley uses radius corners inside and out on most of our tanks which is a necessary feature for sanitation.

Our stringent in-house quality control system monitors tank quality from the start of fabrication to the final water testing.

Ripley’s own truck and driver/ tank handlers deliver to the Western US and Canada and will assist with off-loading and set-up.
