Students gain understanding/knowledge of the business & service operations in the craft brewing industry. The art, science, & technology of brewed beverages is the program’s primary focus. Topics include brewing microbiology, biochemistry, sensory analysis, nutrition & other fermentation principles. The program is delivered through extensive hands-on laboratory coursework in our student-operated brewing company and taproom. An internship at a brewery/brewing-related operation is also required.
