Flathead Valley Community College

Featuring courses in brewing methods, applied sciences, sensory, processes, sustainability, and local internships, students at the Brewing Academy of Montana–BAM–gain a fundamental understanding of the science, theory, business, and mystical art of beer-making. Our 3.5-barrel brewery provides students with weekly hands-on experience from yeast propagation to keg maintenance to wort production and packaging, and local wholesale of that product helps to fund the program’s operations.
