6 Head Counter-Pressure Bottling Line by Cime Careddu S.R.L. New retail M.S.R.P. $150,000. Asking $100K. Email questions to address in the contacts below.

Detailed Photos of the bottling line can be found in this Photo Album: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1CNcob5EOgI7KiplszTwxo5ptj3haG4ds?usp=sharing

Detailed video tour of the bottling line can be found in this YouTube Playlist, including video of runtime labeling and packaging 750mL bottles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ngo1n4kTX_0&list=PLbj7h-8sz6_Vx048j6feo7tX8Nlb5DMIp

For Sale is a 6-head Counter Pressure bottling system with integrated Infeed Table, Labler, Rinser, Filler, Capper, and Outfeed Table. Manufactured in Italy in 2015 by Cime Careddu and purchased through Prospero USA. We used it for bottling still and carbonated beer in 750mL and 375 mL formats, with 26mm bottle caps. 750 mL bottles ran ~700 bottles/hour, and 375s run ~1060 bottles/hour. Once you get used to it, format changeover can be done in ~15 minutes.

It is in good working order, aside from a few chipped conveyer links on infeed table that doesn’t affect functionality (see photos). Buyer will want to regularly grease Zircs on motors and grease timing gears. Buyer will want to get their own star wheels and fill tubes appropriate for their bottle formats.

Total bottling line dimensional footprint is 28’ x 6.5’ (it is L-shaped and the 6.5’ width is the Outfeed/Collection Table, which makes the base of the L). 95” tall at highest point (bottlecap hopper) when running tall bottles (our 750mL format).

Operating/Maintenance Manual is included, as are assorted tools for changeover, and 2 sets of star-wheels (see below for format details). See the following links for Photos and Videos of Operation. The full sized photos couldn’t fit in this post.

The bottling line can be disassembled into smaller components that can be protectively crated for shipping, and are detailed below (Each Numbered Component is identified by larger bold faced text below).

(1) Infeed Table –  Conveyor belt driven infeed table 84” x 28” total dimensions (see photo for conveyor belt orientation/shape.

(2) Labeler – Inline labeling with touch screen controls and dedicated power connection. Multiple bottle format profiles can be loaded via USB drive and touchscreen software. Adjustable height, speed, and Micro-Notch switch installed for customizing label placement on bottles (used for centering labels on our embossed glass bottles). Controls for infeed conveyor, labeler converyer, bottle screw (to advance bottles at even pace).

Manufacturer: Enos Euro

Model: Compatta 2041

Dimensions: 43” x 66” (given as floor space requirement

Power Requirements: L15-20, 240V 3-Phase. Powered by one L15-20 four prong plug, independent from the main filler unit’s power.

Compressed Air Requirements: 60 PSI, plumbed from main filler unit’s supply.

(3) Conveyer – a 38” long section of conveyer belt that transitions between Labelers conveyer belt and Rinser/Filler/Capper conveyer belt. This section draws power from the Labeler unit.

(4) Rinser/Filler/Capper Unit- This is the main unit which houses Rinsing, Filling, and Capping actions. Fully height adjustable (see min/max bottle height below for range)

Manufacturer: Cime Careddu, 2015.

Touchscreen controls for filling operation, with alarm log, and multiple languages (English, Italian), plus a bank of physical buttons, and potentiometers to adjust machine speed and cap hopper vibration. Optical sensors just before and just after the machine sense when bottles are backing up and pauses operation, resuming automatically when the blockage is cleared. Automatic pause of operations for bottle misfeeds into star wheels on rinser/filler/capper (alarm log notifies you which one to correct). Capper sensors pause operation when caps are lacking, with auto resume. Alarm log on touch screen notifies you of alarm specifics, but alarms are cleared by physical button (blinks blue LED) on control panel when ready to resume operation.

Compressed Air Requirements: 65 PSI, stepped down to control diaphragm pump (product pump, not included) by a regulator. The pressure regulator on the labeler unit draws house air from the filler unit. 4 regulators regulate air flow to capper tree components. Filling/capping operations are pneumatically controlled. Labeler draws compressed air from main supply her.

Rinser: 6-head rinser that grips and inverts bottles by their neck ring.  fed by house water pressure. Comes with 5 false bottles for CIP (one is missing).

Bowl Volume: ~0.25 bbls (~30L), with a viewing window to see bowl level. Pneumatically controlled product valve auto fills bowl when bottles are being filled. Product is fed by diaphragm pump (not included with purchase, but air regulator to control a pump is included).

Min Bottle Height: 6.25” from base to neck ring (as determined by the lowest the bottle rinser can go before contacting the star wheels. The rinser grabs bottles by the neck ring).

Max Bottle Height: 13.5” from base to neck ring (the rinser grabs bottles by the neck ring and cannot go higher than 13.5”)
