Description:
A re-circulating, packaged, chiller, engineered to provide 28F glycol. Chiller will circulate a clean fluid at a constant temperature, pressure and flow.
Summary of operation:
American Brewery Chillers are engineered with a thermal storage reservoir combined with inter- nal bypass system. Many fail safe options are included and additional upgrades including re- dundant systems are available.
Standard features:
Electrical: Single point power connection to weather proof electrical panel allows for quick installation. 24 vac control circuit provided from transformer.
Controls & Safeties: Compressor high and low refrigeration pressure safeties, anti-short cycle time delay, water flow safety switch, hot gas head pressure control to –20F. Micro- processor based digital controls with interlocks and for low flow and high supply temperature.
Refrigeration: System with all copper refrig- eration lines; liquid line solenoid valve, site glass and moisture indicator, filter dryer, externally equalized thermal expansion valve and service valves on liquid and suction lines.
Compressor: Hermetic scroll compressor with crankcase heater, suction gas cooled mo- tors, and factory installed solid state external overload protection
Air Cooled Condensers: Energy efficient PSC fan motor, high efficiency enhanced tube and fin condenser design. Fan blades are dynamically balanced and TEAO all weather fan motors are equipped with hot gas head pres- sure control for low ambient to –20F degrees.
Evaporator: High performance stainless steel brazed plate evaporator with UL and ASME listing, and insulated with 3/4” closed cell insulation.
Process Pump: High head centrifugal pump.
Reservoir: High density polyethylene reser- voir, vented and insulated with closed cell insula- tion.
Internal Bypass: Internal bypass for tempera- ture stability and to eliminate possibility of pump deadheading.
Shipping: ships on a pallet, fully crated to minimize risk of shipping damage.
Chillers are run tested and shipped fully charged with refrigerant.
