This 15bbl brite has a leak in the glycol jacket. The leak is external and the tank seals up fine. We have been using it as an unjacketed brite for three years with no problems. We are selling it because we are permanently closed due to COVID.
Several people have asked me about the possibility of fixing the leak. We have made no attempts to determine the location of leak. Doing so would necessitate removing the outer skin of the vessel. We have no idea if it could be fixed cost effectively. If you want to try, it’s not a huge risk (we’re selling it for $700 – the scrap value of the stainless). Otherwise, it works well as an unjacketed brite.
The tank is 99 inches tall by 4 foot diameter.
