New Belgium is making room in their wood cellar for some additional production capabilities and is offering up for sale some of our French Oak upright tanks.  Foeder #29 came to us from the Chateau Montelena Vineyard in the Napa Valley and has been with us for approximately 8 years.  The Foeder is water tight and holds approximately 112 hectoliters.  She comes equipped with a sample valve, racking nozzle (2” tri clamp), manway, bottom valve (2” John Perry connection), and top bunging nozzle.  Also included are two concrete platforms that measure 66” X 16” X 15” to keep the tank at a comfortable working height. The stands weigh approximately 2400 lbs per set of two.  Measurements on the Foeder are 13’ X 6’5” X 7’6” (height/top diameter/bottom diameter) and she weighs approximately 4800 lbs unfilled and when filled will weigh 33,696 lbs.  Buyer is responsible for all rigging and transportation costs.  Rigging costs to remove from the building are estimated at $2,500 and the price of the Foeder is $2000. If considering a multiple foeder purchase, up to three will stand upright on a low… truck. There are efficiencies on rigging and removal cost if more than one foeder is purchased.
