1.0BAR, 800-LITER STAINLESS, STAINLESS PRESSURE TANKS ( $1,500 )Hot Featured
Attention all Craft Beverage & Food Processors!
Cornerstone Stainless Containers currently has a limited inventory of used, aseptic, 1.0 bar containers that are being sold for $1,500 each!!
Each tank has been cleaned & tested to ensure proper functionality, and are ready to be picked up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! We can also help arrange shipping of the tanks, however the purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs.
These tanks are 800 liters (211-gallon) with about 50 liters extra for head space. Each tank is 41.5″ in diameter, 68″ in height and weighs roughly 385 lbs. They’re rated for 1.0 bar of pressure (15 psi) and come with a pressure relief valve (PRV), also rated for 1.0 bar.
These containers we’re previously used for flavorings and extracts. They have no ports on the body, allowing for aseptic to discourage bacteria growth. The pressure rating allows you to seal the contents, making these ideal for transport and storage of Food & Beverage products.
The pressure rating allows them to be used as carbonating tanks or as fermenters (60-degree slope, for a total of 120-degree conical bottom). If you have the means of adding ports to the body of the tank, they could easily be transformed into little brite-tanks.
Here’s the current set-up and how you would receive your tanks without alterations:
• 2.5″ butterfly discharge valve
• 16″ manway lid on top
• 1.0 bar PRV (on lid)
• CO2/NO2 intake valve (on lid as well)
• Stacking crown for stackability (3-high empty or 2-high full)
• Forklift tunnels at base
Because these tanks are used and being sourced from a couple different locations, some of the tanks may have etched lettering or branding already on them. If this is an issue, I have heard that acetone can remove this, or a special kind of cleaner can do so as well. Perhaps the easiest way of covering this is to use a sticker of sorts.
