News Worldwide Beer Collaboration to Support Hospitality Workers

New York’s Other Half is asking brewers from around the globe to help them raise money to support the hospitality industry, which has been devastated by the COVID crisis.

The project is called All Together and will be a global beer collaboration with individual breweries brewing the same beer from a single recipe, similar to the 2018 Resilience project spearheaded by Sierra Nevada Brewing to support wildfire victims.

There is an inextricable link that binds together everyone in the hospitality industry. Brewers, servers, bartenders, bussers, dishwashers, GMs, buyers, chefs, owners—we are all in this together,” a company statement stated. “In this industry, when one of us struggles, the rest of us pick them up. It’s baked into who we are.”

Other Half is inviting any brewer worldwide to use their is open source recipe, and artwork and then donate a portion of the proceeds to supporting hospitality professionals.

“We ask that a portion of the proceeds go to supporting hospitality professionals in your community. The rest should go to keeping you in business to weather this storm,” the company said.
