Weyermann Offers Training Course at New Pilot Plant

The Weyermann Malting Company recently announced a new Weyermann Practical Brewing Training Program, an international, two-week, hands-on training course in recipe formulation and brew house techniques in the Company’s new, state-of-the-art, 2.5-hectoliter (2.13-bbl) pilot brewery on the grounds of the Weyermann plant in Bamberg, Bavaria, Germany. The pilot brewery was manufactured and installed last summer by the Bamberg brew equipment firm of Kaspar Schulz.

The Training Program is open to all professional brewers around the globe. Under the guidance of Weyermann’s university-trained and highly experienced brew masters, brew engineers, and malt masters, the Training Program provides participants with the opportunity to experiment with different beer styles and brewing techniques in small batches.
