News Two More Oregon Breweries Go Up for Sale

The industry has yet to see a significant number of closures, which many predicted would occur when the pandemic hit. But there does seem to be an uptick in breweries going out of business or looking to sell, as the post-pandemic environment becomes more and more challenging for small brewers.

Oregon has seen four breweries go up for sell in the last year (Klamath Basin, Modern Times PDX, Standing Stone Brewing, Lookingglass) and two more were just added to the list.

Portland U-Brew and Unicorn Brewing, a dual business model that comprises a homebrew supply shop and brew-your-own facility as well as an in-house nano brewery and taproom in Portland has been listed at $150,000, which includes all equipment, inventory and intellectual property. That includes the homebrew shop, pub and brewery and existing accounts, as well as help in the transition.

Evasion Brewing, located in McMinnville is 100% gluten-free dedicated brewery which brews with alternative-grains such as millet, rice, buckwheat, and other low-gluten or gluten-free grains. The entire business is for sale for $398,000 which includes a 7bbl brewhouse and established distribution in OR, WA, CO, and NY.
