The TTB has just launched the “Label Generator Tool” for industry members to help brewers better understand what changes are allowed to your approved labels without submitting a new Application for and Certification/Exemption of Label/Bottle Approval (COLA). This will allow brewers who want to make small changes to an existing beer label to skip the COLA process.
The tool automatically generates allowable changes, complete with sample labels for you to view.
With a few quick clicks you can identify what changes you can make to your approved label without applying for a new COLA.
