Stone Brewing’s Epic Tap Room

Stone Brewing Company announced that a 9,500 square foot restaurant, gift shop and visitor center will be incorporated into the new brewery expansion now under way in Escondido, California, just north of San Diego and a few miles from the current facility. Outside the restaurant will be a large patio area and huge, one acre beer garden.

Due to open later this year, the restaurant will feature an enormous 23 foot high by 71 foot wide section of movable glass windows that can open up and expose the indoor portion to the exterior, creating a “nearly seamless” indoor-outdoor environment. Another huge window will face the brewhouse.

The hospitality component is part of a $12 million, 58,000 square foot facility and expansion that the company announced late last year.

The motif of the restaurant is being described at “warehouse deconstructing into organic.”
