Reyes Beverage Group, with the recent acquisition of Gold Coast Beverage Distributors in Florida has sent the company into the number one slot of largest wholesaler in the country.
The top veer wholesaler before? Anheuser-Busch InBev, which now falls to the #2 position.
Gold Coast Beverage Distributors Inc. of Doral, Florida, distributes 27 million cases of beer annually to more than 10,000 retailers across south Florida. Its brands include MillerCoors, Constellation Brands, Heineken USA, Diageo-Guinness USA, Pabst Brewing and craft breweries including Lagunitas Brewing, New Belgium and Sierra Nevada Brewing.
The acquisition is one of the largest ever in the beer distribution industry. And Reyes is now a 150 million case wholesaler across the country with operations in Illinois, California, Maryland, Florida, Virginia, South Carolina and Washington, D.C.
