Oskar Blues Brewing Co. in Longmont, Colo. Has announced the purchase of Perrin Brewing Co. in Comstock Park.
Perrin Brewing, which was founded in 2012 produced about 14,000 bbl last year and is distributed throughout Michigan.
The two breweries recently collaborated on a beer, Cornlaboration.
This may not be the last acquisition for fast-growing Oskar Blues, which in February said that it intends to buy up to six small craft breweries across the country.
Oskar Blues was started in Lyons, Colo. in 1997 by Dale Katechis and now produces more than 150,000 barrels and distributes in 42 states and several nations worldwide. The brewery has two production facilities, one in Longmont and one in Brevard, N.C.
