Sycamore Brewing Sues Stone Brewing in Trademark Dispute
The dust has barely settled for Stone Brewing’s legal team. Sycamore Brewing of Charlotte, NC has sued Stone Brewing Company alleging that the San Diego brewery stole the registered trademark “KEEP IT JUICY” from Sycamore.
Sycamore is suing for trademark infringement, unfair competition and deceptive trade practices and is seeking a preliminary and permanent injunction against Stone to not use the “KEEP IT JUICY” slogan and seeking compensation.
The litigation comes on the heels of a four-year lawsuit that Stone Brewing just won in a trademark dispute with Molson Coors.
