Three original investors have sued New Glarus Brewing Co., accusing chief executive officer Deb Carey of trying to freeze them out of profits.
According to an article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Carey called the lawsuit, “a total blind side” attack from the investors. Despite the shock, she said she’s confident the “pathetic” lawsuit” will be put to rest shortly. “We’re not going anywhere,” she said. “I won’t be bullied into selling or changing our business model.”
