Honey, Where Did you Put My Canning Line?

I know that brewing equipment for start-ups is hard to come by these days – but stealing a canning line? More likely stolen for the scrap value – or maybe not.

An 800-pound canning line machine was stolen from Great River Brewery Co. in Sioux City, Iowa.

The story ends as many stories end in the craft beer industry – with a helping hand from fellow brewers. A brewery in Nebraska has offered to can the beer for Great River until he gets his canning operation back up and running.
