Fair State Brewing, with two locations in St. Paul and Minneapolis, MN became the “first microbrewery in the United States to become unionized,” according to a company statement.
Employees at both locations requested that Fair State recognize their union. In consultation with the member-owner Board of Directors, the company agreed to voluntarily recognize the union.
