News Ale Asylum Sold to Undisclosed Buyer

The Madison, Wisconsin brewery Ale Asylum has sold to an undisclosed buyer.

The company said they signed a nondisclosure agreement which prevents them from saying who the buyers are, but it was disclosed that the new owners are from the area. The deal is expected to be finalized by the end of the year at the latest.

The 16-year-old Ale Asylum has grown to become Madison’s largest brewery and includes a restaurant and brewpub. It is known mostly for its American pale ale Hopalicious.
