News Molson Coors Beats Expectations in Fourth Qtr.

After announcing a new revitalization plan in late October, Molson Coors Beverage Co. reported declines in its worldwide brand volume, but reported fourth-quarter net income of $163.7 million, more than double the $76 million of the year-earlier quarter.

Sales in the U.S. increased 4.7% but fell 4.6% in Canada.

Under its restructuring plan, Molson Coors consolidated its operating units into European and North American branches, while dropping the corporate MillerCoors name. The company also announced it would close its Denver headquarters and move hundreds of corporate jobs to Chicago and Milwaukee.
