“CornGate” gets deeper.
Anheuser-Busch InBev has now accused Molson Coors of stealing secret beer recipes in relation to the ABInBev/MC battle over the use of corn syrup in beer.
Molson Coors initially sued ABInBev in March over the ‘Corrugate’ ad campaign. A judge in May temporarily stopped Bud Light from running some of the campaign’s ads and denied Anheuser-Busch’s motion to dismiss the suit. In a counterclaim filed today in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, Anheuser-Busch claims a MillerCoors employee in February obtained secret recipes for Bud Light and Michelob Ultra from an Anheuser-Busch employee.
