Mississippi Rep. David Baria has introduced legislation that will raise the allowed limit of alcohol by weight on beer from 5 percent to 8 percent.
The non-profit group Raise Your Pints Mississippi has been leading the attempt to raise the limit for a number of years as well as legalize home brewing in the state.
