Gov. Chris Christie has signed pro-craft beer legislation.
The law permits brew pubs to increase annual production from 3,000 barrels to 10,000 and also increases the number of brewpubs a company may open in New Jersey to 10.
It also allows brew pubs to distribute their product to liquor stores and restaurants through distributors. Previously, brewpubs could only sell their product in a restaurant at the brewery.
The law takes effect immediately.
