Hard Seltzer Gets Its Own Festival

Beverage Industry News» Beverage Industry Newsposted Aug 22nd, 2019 by Tom McCormick

How big is hard seltzer? Industry analysts say it comprises about a 1-2% market share of overall beer sales. Big enough to have its own festival. And in Denver none-the-less, home of the original craft beer festival the GABF.

Fizz Fight, billed as “America’s first hard seltzer festival and tasting competition” will take place on September 14th at the EXDO Event Center in the Mile High City. According to an article online at 9News.com, there will be unlimited samples of over 60 different seltzers for attendees to sample.

Maybe the future “GAHSF?”

Not bragging, but there was a hard seltzer festival in St. Petersburg, FL on July 20, so the one in Detroit can’t be “the first.”
